BIM IN THE MANAGEMENT OF O.E.P.V. TENDERS – NEW PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MELZO
Information modelling for the integrated tender for the new primary school in Via Italia in Melzo, with regard to the definitive design stages, a tender awarded to the most economically advantageous offer (O.E.P.V. – offerta economicamente più vantaggiosa) and the subsequent monitoring of the execution phases; the consequent drafting of the guidelines for the definitive design and the management of the O.E.P.V. works tender, with the aim of using information modelling for the works direction phase and the construction of an as-built model for facility management and maintenance.
BIM methodology was applied to the evaluation of the criteria of the technical offer in the integrated tender for the definitive design relating to the construction of a new primary school for 500 pupils in the Municipality of Melzo (Milan), with the project being put out to tender with a value of €5,000,000. The criteria, sub-criteria, evaluation methods and the methods and formulae for the attribution of points for the OEPV tender were defined in order to ensure compliance with the principles of transparency, non-discrimination and equal treatment and to guarantee an objective comparison of the relative value of the offers.
