Graphic Design and Digital Representation
As part of the activities of design and research for buildings, ABCLab brings together experience and expertise relating to design, on an urban, regional scale and building scale, to survey and representation, graphic communication for editorials, the web, shows and exhibitions.
It caters to scientific and teaching research and industry professionals in the fields of architectural and urban composition and design, construction aspects, history of architecture, restoration, urban planning, design, surveys and architectural drawings.
Support for use of industry software
Ad hoc and coordinated support for the use of devices with software relating to the department’s fields of research. Implementation of permanent training courses in digital representation, through teaching provided by the faculty in a classroom specifically equipped for this purpose.
Image capture and processing
High-resolution digital capture of original images from various formats and devices. The image files undergo correction and retouching processes if requested.
Multimedia editing and digital design
Creation of graphics, formatting and printing for: the staging of educational and monographic exhibitions, editorial publications, magazines, catalogues, posters and invites; video post-production; three-dimensional animations; the creation of websites and interactive CD-ROMs.
Two- and three-dimensional representation
Drafting of designs on all scales, representations of architecture through the creation of digital models and realistic simulations by means of specialist software.
