BIM (Building Information Modelling) e GIS

SERVICES
BIM (Building Information Modelling) e GIS

This technical area promotes the diffusion of information systems applied to the building process (BIM – Building Information Modelling) and to the monitoring and management of land and assets (GIS – Geographic Information System).

It offers services that focus on the definition of guidelines, the review and validation of digital models, the digitalisation of monitoring and testing processes throughout all phases of the life cycle of buildings with regard to BIM, in addition to services that focus on topographical monitoring and checks and the creation of Geoportals as part of GIS.

BMS (Building Management System)

Definition of BMS (Building Management Systems) based on monitoring through sensors and Post Occupancy Evaluation scenarios.

Testing of BIM models and information content

Testing the quality of BIM models and the compliance of the documents prepared.

Information modelling of publicly owned buildings

BIM modelling for newly constructed buildings, renovations and existing buildings, with the aim of managing public assets.

BIM to support energy efficiency

Modelling using BIM methodology to support energy efficiency (retrofitting, envelopes, monitoring) at Building District scale.

BHIMM for architectural and archaeological heritage

Modelling using BHIMM methodology for architectural and archaeological cultural assets.

Digitalisation of the products for construction

Digitalisation of the building products and components and their manufacturing processes.

Support for procuring entities in drafting documentation for tenders using BIM methodology

Technical and scientific support in developing an economically advantageous offer with BIM methodology and assistance in the publication and evaluation phases of the tender. Support in drafting tender documents, technical specifications and BIM execution plans.
Implementation of the collaborative contractual forms to optimise the relationships between the parties.

BIM property guidelines for procuring entities and property managers

Support for the Common Data Environment (CDE) of contracts in defining the rules for the construction of Collaborative Digital Platforms for procuring entities and property managers.
Drafting of guidelines for modelling with BIM methodology for the design of new buildings using BIM methodology and the management of maintenance contracts and facility management services.

Geographic Information Systems (Geodatabases/GIS/WEBGIS)

Geographic Information Systems (Geodatabases/GIS/WEBGIS) and land information systems for the management, online or otherwise, of georeferenced data, Google Earth and the development of service applications. Creation of geodatabases of map, land and satellite data. Creation and management of Open Source Geoportals and the development of applications based on geospatial services with the use of Virtual Hub Discovery and Access in order to access BIG Data, data from satellites and various maps published in the form of OpenData, INSPIRE and COPERNICUS compliant and EU platforms. Production of thematic and metric maps from satellite or aerial images. Numerical maps, thematic map, risk maps, georeferencing of historical and current maps, navigation techniques and correlation of panoramic historical maps.
